Photo Archive - Nov/Dec 2025

I finished up with the painting on the main level of Lisa's house as it slowly becomes ready for move in time. I also removed all the doors on the main level and downstairs in preparation for the installation of new doors which will be delivered soon. Then after the new doors & casings are installed I will continue painting them, and the entire downstairs.

Projects of the Week 12/20/25

This past week I completed a small painting project for the parents of my awesome client Monica who I recently also completed a few projects for, including painting. I painted their entry way foyer (excluding the ceiling), main stairwell, and their back stairwell. I used my new ladder extender on both stairwells which really made the tasks easier. I also painted the main hallway upstairs (walls and trim only)

Beth, my new client in Del Webb, Mt Juliet received a few more items that we were waiting for that she wanted me to install. A couple new light fixtures, new drapery rods & mounts, and cabinet hardware for her laundry room.

Projects of the Week 12/13/25

This past week I began a large "to-do" list for a new client who lives in Del Webb, Mount Juliet which includes a wide variety of tasks. These tasks include installation of a new safety gate at the top of the stairs, various lighting fixtures, dimmer switches, bathroom accessories, new cabinet hardware, a new bathroom vanity, new faucet & drain assembly, drapery rods, hung 3 new mirrors, and patched a couple holes in the ceiling from an old light fixture. I had to cut the baseboard so the vanity cabinet sit tighter to the wall, and a section of the back of one of the drawers had to be cut out to allow for the new drain assembly.

This following week will include the installation of a new bathroom vent fan, more bathroom accessories in a 3rd bathroom, more cabinet hardware, and more lighting & drapery rods in the downstairs unit where my client's Mother lives.

Projects of the Week 11/29/25

I spent all this past week at Monica's place. She's an awesome new client who lives in Lebanon, TN, and she asked me to perform various tasks, including painting 2 bedrooms. One of which is her office, which was painted using a dark shade of green with a matte sheen. I also painted the Shiplap surrounding her fireplace to the ceiling using a really dark shade of black, but not pure black, also in a matte sheen. Some of the other tasks included installing another storm door on her side deck entrance door, to match the storm door that I installed on her front door last week. I also installed new baseboards in her HVAC closet, caulked gaps at the bottom of all her door casings around the house, and caulked her glass shower door panel using clear Silicone which they neglected to caulk when it was renovated.

Projects of the Week 11/22/25

I worked primarily at my regular client Lisa's house in Old Hickory this past week. I hung a few decorative items, including a large mirror where I had to us a large lag hook into the house framing to hang it from. I also clear off leaves and about 60 pounds of soot from the top of her carport.

At the end of this past week I was grateful to begin a series of small projects for Monica, a new client who was a referral by Rebecca, a regular client of ours in Lebanon. I started with the installation of Monica's Larson Storm Door on her front door, and I should be finishing up the other tasks this following week before Thanksgiving.

Projects of the Week 11/15/25

This past week started out back at Amanda's house where I had just finished up the last phase of her painting project. I assembled a new dresser for her. Each drawer had to be individually assembled, and there were 8 of them so it took nearly half a day to assemble. I need to remind my clients ahead of time that the more drawers to assemble, the longer it takes, and to expect to pay more.

The Verdei Group property management company who I've done a ton of work for called me out to a townhome property that they manage in Nashville named Midtown Loft to tackle a few tasks. First there were a few holes that needed patching in the hallways. After I patched them I came back on a different day to paint the patches and scuff marks all around the property hallway walls. Including many marks on the sides of the elevator doors on all 3 floors. Midtown Loft recently had nearly all their emergency light fixtures replaced, and since the new ones are smaller, there was an old paint ring left around them, and the holes that were used to mount them had to be filled as well. I managed to paint around a few in the lobby that didn't need much finishing work around them, but I had to prepare 27 light fixtures throughout the entire building for paint. I'll be returning the following week to finish all those. I also repaired their message board above the mailboxes.

My regular client Lisa called me back for a few tasks this past week as well. First I assembled, and hung a laundry wall unit for her laundry area. Then installed a couple of TV mounts. For one of the TVs I installed a cabling kit to hide her cords, but it required a little extra work to feed the wires through some horizontal wood blocking in the wall. I then patched the wall. The other TV required a new outlet up behind the TV, so I ran it from the existing outlet below, and I needed to make a small cut out to feed the wiring for the outlet. I then patched that up as well. I'll be going back to sand, and paint both patches. I also helped her hide the audio/video wires behind her living room hutch by installing a panel on the back of the hutch.

Projects of the Week 11/01/25

This past week started out at my friend Lisa's again where I just finished up her porch enclosure. She asked me to hang her new hanging outdoor lighting all around her front porch.

Then I installed a garage hanging storage rack for a new client in Mt Juliet.

Anjie, another awesome regular client of mine texted me a couple photos this past week of the destruction of a section of her new fence cause by a falling tree. The tree fell from the neighbor's side of the fence, and the neighbor agreed to cut up the tree, while Anjie covered the cost of the fence repair. That's where I came in. I patched  in the new section of fencing to look just the way it did before the tree took it out.

Then finally, at the end of this past week I began phase 3 in the multi-phase painting project for my client, Amanda. This phase will include her Master Bedroom, including her Master 1/2 bath, and hallway. Which includes one side of all the doors in the hall. One door badly needed some repairs. The bottom was badly damaged, so I scraped off any loose wood, sanded it, filled in the area with Bondo, and then sanded it smooth. The louver door for the HVAC closet was very dirty due to the air return inside the closet, so air (and dust) flows through the louver slats. It needed deep cleaning, so after cleaning and sanding it, I painted both sides of that door.
