I finished up with the painting on the main level of Lisa's house as it slowly becomes ready for move in time. I also removed all the doors on the main level and downstairs in preparation for the installation of new doors which will be delivered soon. Then after the new doors & casings are installed I will continue painting them, and the entire downstairs.

This past week I returned to a fairly new client's loft in Nashville to install a new dimmer switch, and replaced her under cabinet light as well.
Anjie, another regular client of ours in Hermitage called me back out to reattach her shutter that had blown off during the heavy storms that came through a couple weeks back.
Lisa, my friend and client who has a home in Old Hickory asked me to install a couple of new dimmer switches as well. One for her dining room, and another for her living room. I also sealed the bottom of her new shed that I assembled all around the perimeter. Al also touched up the paint on another seal task that I had done about a week prior.
I met up with a couple of new clients this past week who are taking advantage of our new RPT Services (Rental Property Turnover Services). One has had a rental property in Gallatin that has been vacant for quite sometime, and he decided it was time to finally get his property occupied and expedite the completion of various projects around the house. Starting with this deck pictured here. Many more smaller projects are inside as well.
Another new client of ours has a rental property in Lebanon that he's been working on for a while also, but he had the place almost completely gutted. He had all the electrical & plumbing upgraded, and they're finishing up the drywall. He's going to install the kitchen cabinets with his friend, but the cabinetry has to be assembled first, so I'm going to do that for them first. I'm also going back to install all his new doors & casing after the flooring installers are done.

Clients of mine called me back this past week to install a couple of new cabinets & trim in their laundry room, along with a couple of floating shelves in between them. I started with the shelves first so I could butt the cabinets up against them tightly.
A few weeks back my Nephew and I constructed a raised platform for my friend and client Lisa. This past week, and through the weekend I assembled the new metal shed for Lisa with the help of my buddy Krys, who usually helps out with painting. All the panels and trim pieces had a protective film over them, and Krys assisted me with the removal of the film. I also needed a 2nd person to place the roof section on after I pre-assembled it, and Krys helped me with that as well.

We're all done in Clarksville. The final days of completion went into the following week (April 6th & 7th), but included everything in this album. After finishing up the new floor installation downstairs and in the bathrooms upstairs there were many small item to complete, including areas that needed paint touch ups. I didn't take photos of everything, but managed to capture some of them here. These items included 1/4 round shoe molding (including caulking and paint), painted garage, cut some doors that were rubbing, installed new light fixtures, new supply & drain hoses for the dishwasher, air register cover under kitchen sink in toe kick, installed downspout extension tubes, installed new address number plaque, painted the shutters to match the front door and stair banisters, and other items not pictured here. Then thoroughly cleaned up, including mopping the new flooring, and stainless steel in the kitchen.

It was a very busy this past week in Clarksville. Before the carpet installers came I made sure that the flooring in the upstairs bathrooms was down. That way they could create a nice clean carpet tuck without the need of a transition strip between the two floor types. Krys and I also wrapped up almost all the painting including the walls, the front door (both sides), back door (both sides), the stair banisters, and the address number plaque.
Mary and Albert scheduled the countertops and backsplash install as well, on separate days. After the adhesives set I went ahead and installed the new faucet, and re-directed the plumbing from a double to a single sink configuration. I also reattached the disposal, and installed a couple new light fixtures.
I started the flooring install downstairs at the end of the week, and it continued through the weekend. The 1/4 round shoe molding will be installed, caulked, and painted next after the flooring is down. By the end of the following week we should be finished with all the tasks and in cleanup mode.

We made some great progress this past week in Clarksville. All the hardware was removed from all the doors, and then sprayed the doors. Then put the hardware back on, and hung the doors back up. All the cabinet hardware including hinges were placed back on to all the doors & drawers, and then placed back on to the cabinets. All the trim has been sprayed, including the fireplace trim, and the walls were painted in the two guest bedrooms upstairs, as well as the hallway. Master Bedroom will be painted after the flooring is installed in both bathrooms upstairs since I'm using that bedroom to cut the flooring. Part of the downstairs walls were also painted, including the stairwell. After returning from a day off I started the new flooring install in the Guest Bathroom after cutting up the door casings and jambs so the flooring would fit underneath. The Master Bathroom flooring will be done early this following week, and then the Master Bedroom will be painted. Low profile lighting fixtures will also be installed.

Multiple painting projects including cabinetry continued through the past week at Mary & Albert's rental house in Clarksville. First we cleaned, and lightly sanded the cabinetry doors, drawer fronts, and face frames. Then applied a durable oil based high bonding primer from Sherwin Williams (Emerald) using an airless paint sprayer. We then lightly sanded all the cabinetry again before spraying Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel formulated for trim and cabinetry. We also began to spray the same Emerald Urethane trim paint onto the doors, and on the trim as well upstairs.

We started a new project this past week for our awesome regular clients, Mary & Albert. Late last year I installed new flooring throughout the downstairs in one of their rental homes, and now they've asked me to return to Clarksville to install new flooring in their 2nd rental home. They also wanted me to paint the entire interior of the house as well, so that's where we began. First Krys and I did a good amount of prep work, including wall paint cornering at the ceiling, then masking the wall at the ceiling to prepare for spraying the ceiling with Sherwin Williams ceiling paint. Krys showed me this technique that will result in sharp lines in the ceiling/wall corners. While Krys took a well earned day off, my Nephew Everett and I worked on removing the old carpet and pad downstairs, and Everett pulled up staples while I masked all the windows, the front door and fireplace in preparation to spray paint all the trim.
This past week I also did a few small projects for a new client that called me a couple weeks ago. This couple was looking for someone to mount their new TV, hang a few light fixtures, and install a couple ceiling fans.
Our regular client Linda in Thompson Station called me back again to hang a few more items as she continues to unpack from her recent move as well.

Projects continue at Lisa's house, and this past week I installed a new pet door in her sunroom for her little pup. I also mounted her new TV, and ran the cabling behind the wall. I then replaced her thermostat with one she can control from anywhere via WiFi. I had to sand, finish and paint the wall behind it first so there were no signs of the old one.
Another client of ours called me to hang another lantern light fixture over her dining room table similar to the 3 I installed in her living room a couple weeks back.
