Kevin, a close friend of my brother Dave and I ran into a problem with his contractor and asked us to help him to get some projects completed around his home to prepare for putting it on the market. We plan to renovate 4 bedrooms and the kitchen, including new flooring, new windows & doors, and painting, along with a few smaller projects spanning over a few months which started in mid July, and wrapping up by December. Along with some work in both his attached and detached garages as well.
Trim & Doors, Installation & Paint
Nothing finishes out a home like newly installed and painted trim and doors. We are still waiting for some electrical issues to be worked out by the Electrician. When they are worked out I will proceed with the tile backsplash installation. In the meantime I went ahead and worked on getting most of the doors and trim installed, caulked and painted. The next painting task will include cutting in the wall paint up to the new trim. I also Installed the new pendant lighting over the island, and a new dimmer switch.
I was able to get together with both of my brothers this past weekend, and helped my brother Dave and his wife Tina finish up their new flooring & baseboard installation as well.
Tasks done over the last few days:
✔️ Installed 2 new pendant lights
✔️ Installed dimmer switch for pendant lights
✔️ Installed door casings and baseboards
✔️ Filled nail holes
✔️ Sanded fills and caulked all trim.
✔️ Painted doors & trim
✔️ Installed new flooring
