Kevin, a close friend of my brother Dave and I ran into a problem with his contractor and asked us to help him to get some projects completed around his home to prepare for putting it on the market. We plan to renovate 4 bedrooms and the kitchen, including new flooring, new windows & doors, and painting, along with a few smaller projects spanning over a few months which started in mid July and going into November. Along with some work in both his attached and detached garages as well.
After I finished the new flooring installation, and the new countertops went down, I completed many tasks in the kitchen. I put all the new hardware on the cabinets first. Then I installed the new faucet, disposal, and re-connected the dishwasher. At the end of the week I installed undercabinet lighting, a light over the sink, the kitchen baseboards, cabinet toe kick material, 1/4 round molding, scribe molding, and lastly I modified a cabinet drawer to allow the installation of their new pop-up charger/plugs.
This following week I plan to install the tile backsplash, then grout, put the microwave into place, connect the vent fan ducting, hang the new pendant lights, and window trim.
