Kevin, a close friend of my brother Dave and I ran into a problem with his contractor and asked us to help him to get some projects completed around his home to prepare for putting it on the market. We plan to renovate 4 bedrooms and the kitchen, including new flooring, new windows & doors, and painting, along with a few smaller projects spanning over a few months which started in mid July. Along with some work in both his attached and detached garages as well.
The week started with the installation of the new flooring in what I'm calling "Bedroom 1", which is 1 of 4 bedrooms including the Master. I had completed the flooring installation in the Master BR the week prior. I proceeded to install baseboards in both bedrooms, and some door casings. I then caulked all the trim, and filled nail holes. Before painting all the newly installed trim I sanded the nail fills. I also painted some of existing trim in the hallway, as well as the jambs for the hall bath and pantry closet. I installed the new bypass closet doors in bedroom 1 as well. I then painted the new closet doors, and the doors for both the hall and Master bathrooms. Kevin's Boxer "Hank" made sure the closet doors were installed and painted correctly.
